Fabric-a-brac
Fabric-a-brac is a fun fabric and sewing supplies market where you can shop for vintage and modern sewing and upholstery fabric, patterns, haberdashery and more. It brings the sewing community together to share stashes, stories and delight in our mutual love of textiles.
The first Fabric-a-brac was held in Wellington 15 years ago – we’re sew excited to still be here, bring the sewing community together and raising money for Mary Potter Hospice.
Fabric-a-brac is volunteer-run, and is a fundraiser for hospice – in Wellington this is Mary Potter Hospice. All profits from this event are donated to their work.
Casual Quilters
This is a group open to any members or visitors to work. We offer an excellent space to sew and good company. We would be happy to see you there!
Spinners are welcome to join Casual Stitchers. KACC has several spinning wheels available to use!

UFO Retreat Weekend
Join us for a weekend of sewing with catering taken care of! Stay overnight, or come during the day. Bring your unfinished projects and get a chunk completed from them with help and inspiration from fellow quilters.
Expressions of interest will be requested in August to Jo Rodwell, or by query to secretary@wellingtonquilters.org.nz

Come along to the Community /refuge quilt workday from 10am to 4pm.
All help is appreciated.
The new venue at Challenge 2000, on the corner of Moorefield Rd and Wanaka St Johnsonville, proved very suitable. There is a lovely dining room enabling everyone to have lunch together. The chairs for sewing are low though so if you do come bring a cushion to sit on. Come for the day or part of it. BYO own lunch. Tea and coffee provided. There is parking at the top of the drive.

Come along to the Community /refuge quilt workday from 10am to 4pm.
All help is appreciated.
The new venue at Challenge 2000, on the corner of Moorefield Rd and Wanaka St Johnsonville, proved very suitable. There is a lovely dining room enabling everyone to have lunch together. The chairs for sewing are low though so if you do come bring a cushion to sit on. Come for the day or part of it. BYO own lunch. Tea and coffee provided. There is parking at the top of the drive.
