Bring along a wool blanket or quilt that you want to upcycle into a snuggly winter jacket with a zero-waste pattern. There will be a few different styles to choose from. We’ll start by making paper mock ups to learn how the pattern works and to plan your jacket style. If needed we’ll make a toile from an old sheet before starting the zero-waste jacket. A variety of different joining and hemming methods will be demonstrated, including quilt-as-you-go binding, hand embroidery and frayed edges.

1-day class: 6 - 8 hours teaching time.

Class $65 for members, $75 for non-members

Class kit: Printed notes and patterns $6 each
